During my stay in Seychelles I had the chance to photograph a beautiful couple photoshoot in Seychelles on the stunning Anse Royal beach on Mahé island. What started as a spontaneous idea quickly turned into a relaxed sunset session filled with laughter, ocean breeze and that magical island atmosphere Seychelles is known for.
Love Story on Anse Royal Beach
Some stories simply happen when you least expect them.
During my stay in Seychelles, I met an amazing couple from Switzerland. They have been together for two years, but what truly makes their story special is the way they choose to live their lives. Instead of collecting things, they collect experiences. Every euro they earn goes into travelling the world and creating memories together — because, as they beautifully said, memories are something no one can ever take away from you.
When I mentioned the idea of doing a couple photoshoot and creating a short cinematic video on one of the beaches, they loved it immediately.
The location was Anse Royal, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Mahé. Soft sand, turquoise water, dramatic granite rocks and that warm Indian Ocean light that photographers dream about.
For the video part of the story, my twin sister was behind the camera. She works under the name Motion Video Art (https://www.instagram.com/motion_video_art/), creating beautiful cinematic wedding and couple films.
The whole session felt effortless. Just two people in love, walking along the beach, laughing, enjoying the moment and the incredible nature surrounding them. No pressure, no poses — just real connection.
Seychelles truly has that kind of magic. The kind that allows you to slow down, breathe and simply enjoy being present.
